Novi Onboarding: Phase 3

Novi Onboarding: Phase Three

It's All About the Data: Duration 2 Weeks

In Phase Three the primary focus is on your data. This phase can be broken down into six essential steps, some completed by your team, and some completed by your onboarding specialist. Pull it, format it, clean it, review it, approve it, and import it. It's as easy as that, mostly!

The data import timeline can vary depending on the complexity and condition of your data. On average, we recommend budgeting approximately 25 hours to this phase

Milestones We Will Achieve Together

Import Member Data into Novi

You'll be responsible for pulling and cleaning your data before uploading it to your project board. While we can assist with basic excel formatting and provide recommendations for cleaning, it is important to note that we cannot make business decisions within your data for you. From there, we’ll put in the finishing touches so that you can review and approve your data before we import it into Novi.

Customer Deliverables

  • Export member data from your legacy system.
  • Review data and remove unnecessary columns or rows.
  • Upload data for Novi Review.

Import Event Data into Novi (if desired)

Like member data, you'll decide which events are essential for your project and what you want to bring into Novi. Your team can strategically think through which events are most important to bring into the system. You'll be able to import registration and attendance history, if you have it. Not ready to import events? We can and customers often do choose to take this step after launch.

Customer Deliverables

  • Export event data from your legacy system.
  • Review data and remove unnecessary columns or rows.
  • Upload data for Novi Review.

Collaboration: Workshops and Meetings

It's important to recognize that Phase Three is distinct from other phases in terms of structure. While previous phases often involve specific tasks and workshops, Phase Three is more about collaboration and data preparation. Your active involvement and responsiveness are crucial during this phase. Effective communication is vital. Our team may need to ask questions, seek clarifications, and ask for decisions to be made that directly impact the data import process. Maintaining regular communication through chat and e-mail as well as being prepared for spontaneous zoom meetings allows us to promptly address any issues or challenges, ensuring that the data is prepared accurately and effectively.
