The fastest check-in uses QR codes that staff scan with a phone or tablet, with no printed lists or extra hardware. Novi AMS can include a QR code in each attendee's confirmation email, and staff check attendees in by scanning it with a phone or tablet camera. Each scan marks the attendee as attended for that ticket, which also issues any continuing education credits tied to the event. Attendees can show the code on their phone or bring a printed copy.

The simplest approach is to issue credits automatically when attendance is recorded, so members and staff always see an up-to-date record.
