What You'll Do

Work fully remote – collaborate with your teammates using Slack, Zoom, & other tools

Manage a small engineering team (5 engineers) to complete projects and deliver results. This will include Agile planning, 1:1s with your team, code reviews, & more.

Collaborate with customers & our product owner to establish product requirements, strategy, & goals

Hold a high standard of engineering excellence through technical leadership, planning, & hiring of diverse technical talent

Provide candid feedback where necessary to improve our processes & systems

Coach and mentor team members to continue their career development & growth

Identity gaps & opportunities for driving company growth throughout our engineering process

Lead by example and have no fear of occasionally diving into the weeds

Provide clarity & vision for the engineering team, then facilitate team collaboration to execute on that vision

Report to the CEO & drive company strategy as part of our leadership team


What You'll Bring

3-5+ years of software engineering management and/or tech lead experience

Strong ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with technical & non-technical stakeholders

Strong technical leadership skills with proven experience architecting, developing, & shipping software and the desire to take ownership of the technical direction of the company.

Experience in the Microsoft ASP.NET (C#)

Familiarity with cloud-based software architectures & platforms (ideally, Microsoft Azure)

Passion for your work & continuous improvement

Experience in Agile methodologies

Based in & eligible to work in the United States
