Associations create change. At Novi AMS, our mission is to help amplify that change.

Created to ensure everyone has the opportunity to create change, no matter their size or budget, the Novi AMS CAE Scholarship was founded as one way to support the industry that gives back to so many.

Our COVID Project

2020 was a year of change for everyone. And while it caused a global uproot in just about every facet of our lives, there were some positives to come from the upheaval. For us, we decided to take on a professional COVID project -- we were going to get our CAE! After months of studying, through bloodshot eyes, and let's be honest, a few tears -- out came four new CAEs!

We learned a lot during this process, and not just from the textbooks or our amazing instructor (shoutout to you Sue!). We learned what our customers are going through on a day-to-day basis. We learned about the tough decisions association leaders make and how to look at our own business holistically with a 40k-foot view. As a tech company, so much of what we do involves wrapping our head around the challenges our customers incur daily, and going through this process was a no-brainer in an effort to better serve them.

It also dawned on us that as a tech company, this wasn't a crazy financial lift. But for a number of associations, this might not be the case. They might not be able to afford the investment or have board leadership that understands and will budget for the value getting a CAE brings. Going through the CAE journey creates change. Change not only personally, but also in the people they lead and in the associations they work for. Money shouldn't be a prohibiting factor for someone to continue on their career path and also continue to grow their organization.

Associations create change. Our mission is to help them do that every day with technology. And now we are blessed to be in a place to further our mission and pay it forward. And with that, the Novi CAE Scholarship was born.

Scholarship Details

The CAE exam is offered twice a year. We will award and recognize a scholarship recipient for each exam period. The scholarship will cover:

$1k stipend to use toward eligible CAE Study Programs and Books

Application Process

Eligible candidates must complete an electronic application and submit a copy of support from their direct supervisor and proof of eligibility requirements. Applications for the scholarship will be open soon!

Selection Process

Applicants will be considered and evaluated by non-partisan judges who currently hold their CAE designation and are not employed by Novi AMS.
